TubeCell

TubeCell is an acquisition software to manage impedance tube measurements.

it allows to :

• - to acquire and to post-process your data,
• - to provide input data for further analysis using FEM, BEM, SEA, Ray Tracing,
• - to reduce the lead time for otherwise lengthy measurement campaign,
• - to have a true monitoring on the measurement quality in order to improve it.

Description / Features

TubeCell is dedicated to impedance tube measurements following ISO 10534-2, ASTM E1050-12 and ASTM E2611 standards.

TubeCell main features are :

• - handling of arbitrary tube dimensions and microphone positions,
• - measurements using 1, 2, 3 or 4 microphones,
• - individual microphone calibration,
• - calibration of microphone relative positions,
• - guided measurement procedure,
• - frequency range overlap averaging,
• - 2 microphones/2 loads and 3 microphones/2 loads methods,
• - uncertainty envelope of the measured data,
• - full post-processing of the data.

 

TubeCell output data include :

• - surface properties : absorption coefficient, surface impedance, reflection coefficient,
• - transmission coefficient,
• - coherences and auto-spectra.
• - bulk characteristic properties : dynamic mass density, dynamic bulk modulus, characteristic impedance, characteristic wave number,
• - dissipated powers,
• - transfer matrix coefficients.
